In light of recent conversations, I found it fit to throw a little bit of humor out there to lighten to the tension. I love my readers, so I try to keep you guys happy. If you haven’t watched any Mr. Deity videos on YouTube, you’re in for a treat. I found this specific episode fitting for the current conversation. Enjoy. Laugh. Lighten up.

I watched the one about Jonah also. there is an amazing lack of understanding.. It breaks my heart that so many thousands of people never get to hear real biblical teaching. jonah was dead, That is why Jesus said, “You will get no sign except the sign of Jonah. ”
It is no wonder so many people reject the Message, they never heard it in the first place.

To echo a little bit of what Will said, I might have found it funnier if they knew what they were talking about. This is pretty cliche and betrays a lack of understanding. I watched the Lion/Lamb one and quickly realized that they are just operating off of common misconceptions. Just so you know, there is no place in Scripture that states the lion will lay down with the lamb(and yes, I know a lot of Christians don’t know this either). It is actually the fatted calf that the lion will lay down with in the future.(Isaiah 11:6)
They came darn close to being right when they talked about the “love your enemies” bit in the original video, but then they blew it. I guess they were more interested in a punchline than the truth.
God has never asked us to do anything that He is unwilling to do, including loving our enemies. Thanks for sharing the video in any case. It was certainly enlightening.

*sigh* It’s meant to be funny. You missed the point entirely.
It’s not funny if I have to explain, guys.
